TOUR 2021 - 1ST STAGE
The 56th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (TOUR 2021) launched with the start from Konya Mevlana Square.
Due to the adverse weather conditions in Nevşehir, the first stage of the tour, which was previously announced with 167.3 kilometers, was canceled and instead of this stage, the first leg of 72.4 kilometers Konya-Konya stage was organized in Konya.
172 riders who started from Mevlana Square completed the route in Culture Park by passing through Kozağaç Junction, Konya Science Center, Aliya İzzetbegoviç Avenue and Rauf Denktaş Avenue.
Arvid de Kleijn of Rally team finished the race in first place with a time of 1 hour 35 minutes 38 seconds.
While Norwegian Kristoffer Halvorsen from Norway's UNO-X Pro team finishing the peloton second, French Pierre Barbier from France's Delko team became third.
