The promotional meeting of TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival 2021 was held at Atatürk Airport.

 

 

The introductory meeting started with the speech of Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation - TEKNOFEST.

Selçuk Bayraktar delivered his speech as follows: “Our country acted conscientiously without surrendering to the egocentric concerns of the world, thanks to the vision of the National Technology Initiative blended with the values of our civilization's justice and compassion. These devices were given to countries in Africa that do not even have a single respirator.”

 

 

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2021, information about 35 different technology competitions this year was conveyed by Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology - TEKNOFEST Chief Executive Officer. In his presentation, Kaçır talked about the competition categories that will be organized for the first time within the scope of Teknofest 2021 and the successes experienced in the past years.

 

 

President of the Presidency Defense Industry, İsmail Demir expressed his valuable satisfaction for being a stakeholder of an organization that contributes to the national technology move, TEKNOFEST.

 

 

Stating that TEKNOFEST has gained a global identity in 3 years, Governor of Istanbul, Ali Yerlikaya said: “Teknofest became one of the most important science, technology and space festivals in the world and returned to Istanbul where it was laucnhed first. We are very happy and excited to host this huge organization in Istanbul in 2021. We support the future of our country from Istanbul, the capital city of our civilization.

 

 

Under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the festival will be held in Istanbul on September 21-26 with 67 stakeholder institutions, including Turkey’s leading technology companies, public institutions, media organizations and universities.
