NIGHT OF THE STARS TEAM TURKEY GREETING RECEPTION
The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the "Night of the Stars-Team Turkey Greeting Reception" for the athletes and coaches competing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.
The night held at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu and Japan's Ankara Ambassador Suzuki Kazuhiro as well as well-known names from the sports, art and business.
The organization started with the opening speeches delivered by Mete Gazoz, Busenaz Sürmeneli, Abdullah Öztürk and Reyhan Yılmaz on behalf of the national athletes competing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Mete Gazoz said that he feels right proud of keeping his promises in his opening speech. Busenaz Sürmeneli, on the other hand, stated that despite the time elapsed over Tokyo, their excitement was still high. Reyhan Yılmaz stated that she was happy to be in such a night on behalf of her team. Abdullah Öztürk also stated that he enjoyed this evening very much.
Coming to the stage later, Minister Kasapoğlu thanked all the heroes of this story. Stating that they were in an evening of pride, Kasapoğlu said, "We wanted to honor our athletes who successfully represented us at Tokyo 2020 at a time when we desperately need good news. They wrote a powerful history. I would like to applaud you once again on the occasion of this evening, our dear trainers, my athlete friends, our precious families."
At the reception, Minister Kasapoğlu presented the national jersey signed by the olympic athletes on behalf of Mustafa Dağistanlı to the Secretary General of TOC Neşe Gündoğan.
