GOLDEN RACKETS MET AT WTA
The WTA (Womanʼs Tennis Association) Championship has been one of the biggest sports events in Istanbul throughout the history.
The tournament, hosted by the Tennis Federation, welcomed the worldʼs most valuable women tennis sporters in Sinan Erdem Sports Hall for three consecutive years between 2011-2013.
WTA Championship that held in Florida firts time in 1972 is the 5th most prestigious tournament after the 4th Grand Slam. Since 2003, the best 8 players of the world in singles and 4 teams in doubles have participated in the tournament.
