Official opening ceremony of FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey, was held after the contest Cuba versus Republic of Korea in Kayseri Kadir Has Stadium.

The ceremony started with the opening of a large caravanserai gate at Kadir Has Stadium. More than 600 performance artists and 175 folk dancers performed a special dance performance accompanied with the official song of event ‘Yıldızlar Buradan Yükseliyorʼ (Stars Soar From Here) by the band Gece.
