The Dutch rider Fabio Jakobsen of Deceuninck - Quick Step (Belgium) won the third stage of the 55th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (TOUR 2019).

 

 

Jakobsen became the winner of the 122,6 kilometers-long 3rd stage between Çanakkale and Edremit, with a duration of 2 hours 50 minutes and 12 seconds.

 

 

In the stage which has been pedaled against a contrary sharp wind, following Jakobsen, BORA - Hansgrohe's Irish ace rider Sam Bennett managed to be the second while the legendary Sprinter of Team Dimension Data, Mark Cavendish was taking the third place.

 

 

Maintaining to be the general classification leader, Bennet will be keeping the Turquoise Jersey. Irish rider also kept the Green Jersey which is given to the top sprinter. 

 

 

The Belgian rider Thimo Willems from the SVB-Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise Team (Belgium) will bee keeping the Red Jersey which is given to the mountains classification leader. Feritcan Şamlı of the National Turkish Cycling Team, will be keeping the White Jersey as the Beauties of Turkey classification leader.
