D-8 GATHERED IN ISTANBUL
Heads of States and Governments of many countries include: Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt and Nigeria and senior representatives of the D8 countries attended the summit that hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center.
D8, which has been granted observer status by the United Nations, stands out as a cooperation organization that increases its effectiveness every day.
The theme of the summit was determined as increasing cooperation and opportunities. At the summit in Istanbul, important decisions were taken to improve the relations between the member countries.
