TEKNOFEST 2021 ENDS

Organized under the leadership of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the world's largest festival TEKNOFEST was held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between September 21-26.

 

 

With its vibrant programs and performances, Teknofest provided exciting moments and experiences for children and young people.

 

 

Turkish Stars, SoloTürk, Hürkuş, Atak helicopters, Gendarmerie Air Force, Bayraktar TB2, Azerbaijan demonstration aircraft MIG-29 performed breath-taking air shows over the course of six days.

 

 

Within the scope of the festival, Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA) produced by Baykar and Hürkuş and F16 aircraft, designed and produced by Turkish Aircraft Industry Corporation (TUSAŞ) using domestic and national resources, made demonstration flights.

 

 

Young people participating in the Astronomy Planetarium experienced a unique journey to the depths of space.

 

 

Visitors to TEKNOFEST had the opportunity to get a close look to the Bayraktar Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle manufactured by Baykar, the domestic and national flying car Cezeri, and the prototype of the TF-X National Combat Aircraft produced by TAI.

 

 

The Manga performance boosted the festival's energy by twofold. Manga's songs were accompanied by tens of thousands of fans who had a blast.

 

 

With the Your Stage event, high school and university students both sang their songs and played their instruments on the main stage of TEKNOFEST, with the music groups.

 

 

Vertical Wind Tunnel and Civil Aviation flights also captured a great deal of interest of the visitors, during TEKNOFEST.

 

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the festival on Saturday, September 25. He presented prizes to the winners of the competition.

 

 

Nobel Prize-winning Turkish scientist Prof. Aziz Sancar attended TEKNOFEST on the fourth day of the festival.

 

 

The winners of the competitions organized within the scope of the world's largest technology festival were awarded.

 

 

The festival, which was held in order to realize Turkey's national technology move and transform it into a society that produces technology, ended on Sunday, September 26th.
