Antalya is considered to be one of the best locations in the world for international meetings by its location, tourism infrastructure, climate, natural and historical wealth.

State and government officials from 50 countries attended the summit. Representatives of international organizations also participated meetings. All of the major international media companies provided a steady stream of news from the summit via live broadcasts. NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting, which was marked by security issues in countries such as Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq, was the first news in world newspapers. Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the United States Secretary of State John Kerry and the UN Secretary- Generalʼs Special Envoy for Afghanistan and the High Representative of the European Union were among the important guests of the meeting.
